The Child Development students spent two days mingling with the EP Preschool students! They read stories, participated in station activities, sang holiday songs, made reindeer food, and so much more!




Thursday will be Pajama Day for the elementary school. Thank you to PTO for the popcorn and water for movie day!

This month’s Cultural Cuisine Day featured a Traditional Irish Soda Bread recipe with a special guest, Mr. Mark McTrustry! He explained historical and personal significance behind this recipe and the students loved getting to taste a little Irish heritage!



The girls basketball JV & Varsity games scheduled for this evening vs. Southern Local has been cancelled. The weather conditions for their return trip home was of concern. We have rescheduled the contest for 2/5/2020.

Reminder: Please encourage your students to bring in food items tomorrow for the Social Concerns food drive: Freshmen take food to Wollet, Sophomores to Madsen, Juniors to Sansenbaugher, and Seniors to Randolph. The participating members from the winning grade level will get donuts and hot chocolate in the Cafeteria, Tuesday, Dec. 17th.
The EPHS Choir will perform for senior community members at Senior Funday, Monday, December 9, at 11:30 am. This program will be held at the Centenary United Methodist Church. Lunch will be provided for those in attendance.
Our Bulldog Marching Band will perform with several other area bands in the Youngstown Christmas Parade tonight, December 6. The parade starts at 6:00 pm with tree lighting to follow. Anyone planning to go to the event please allow ample time for parking as some streets are blocked for the parade.

Students in Mrs. Randolph's Honors English 11 class began preparations for the Covington Biography Project by spending some time with the residents earlier this week.

The East Palestine High School Athletic Department would like to announce, we will be having a HS Boys Basketball Benefit game on Wednesday, Nov. 27th beginning at 6:00 in the high school gym.
This event will benefit the Vaughn Brunson Memorial Scholarship Fund. First game will be Columbiana vs. Poland and the second game will be East Palestine vs. Struthers. Ticket prices are $4 for students and $6 for adults.
This week Miss Dawson's Algebra class investigated if there is a correlation between height and wingspan. Students recorded the bivariate data by helping each other measure their height and wingspan. The class then created a scatter plot to share their results. This activity was an introduction to scatter plots and finding the line of best fit which students found using the graphing calculators.
The Grade 5 Performing Arts class, under the direction of Mrs. Mollenkopf and Mr. Chiporo, held their Fall/Winter production last evening in the high school auditorium. The event was very well attended and the students did an outstanding job. In case you missed it…
