Just a quick message to let you know that the school district will remain closed for the rest of this week. This will give us time to make sure that all buildings are deep cleaned, HVAC systems are inspected and we are ready to bring staff and students back to a well prepared environment. There may need to be some adjustments to bus routes and procedures.. The tentative plan is to reopen schools on Monday, February 13, 2023. Once we have our return plan complete it will be released through all district social media platforms and all call systems.

I wanted to update you on a few items: First, East Palestine City School District will be closed for the remainder of this week through Friday, February 10th. I would like to reiterate that the implementation of our Blizzard Bag protocols is to make sure that as a district we meet our legislatively required minimum hours. I want to assure you that any student who does not have the resources or ability (regardless of the reason) to work on these will NOT be penalized. Please monitor district social media platforms and website to receive additional information throughout the course of the next few days And Finally, I want to thank everyone for their patience and support as we navigate through this emergency. The support for our families, community, and first responders is critical. Stay Safe, and as always, Go Bulldogs!!!

Due to the state of emergency in the city, East Palestine City School District will be closed for the remainder of this week Tuesday, February 7th through Friday, February 10th. -We will utilize our blizzard bags Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in an attempt to provide some continued educational structure. These resources are available on the school district website. Staff will be monitoring their Google classroom, Class dojo and emails. This is not meant to provide any additional stress for families. These resources are for those that are able to access them and are looking for something else for students to focus on. -All extra curricular activities have been canceled for the district for the remainder of the week. -The shelter will remain open at the EPMS/EPHS gyms for as long as the mandatory evacuation is in place. -I will keep you posted as we receive additional information throughout the course of the next few days And Finally, I want to thank everyone for their patience and support as we navigate through this emergency. The support for our families, community, and first responders is critical. Stay Safe, and as always, Go Bulldogs!!!
