Due to illness, the middle school drama club meeting for Wednesday, January 8, has been cancelled. Students who are interested in being a part of the Lion King Jr. production can pick up a packet of information from Mrs. Mollenkopf to take home and read. Packets will also be available at lunch and in the office Wednesday afternoon. Sign ups and auditions will still take place Monday Jan 13.

On Monday, January 6, and Tuesday, January 7, representatives from Music and Arts will visit our schools to allow interested grade 5 and grade 6 students to test out band instruments. This event will happen during Period 4 Performing Arts class in the band room. We will follow up with flyers detailing an upcoming parent meeting so you can find out how your students can become part of the Bulldog Band!

Congratulations to East Palestine Middle School’s Kandace Best for winning the WKBN Caring for Our Community Creative Classroom grant. Mrs. Best, along with the help and support of many others, renovated the school courtyard over the last several months to allow students to enjoy the outside while learning about science. Mrs. Best and others will be using this grant to make additions to their already outstanding project. You can catch the surprise on Thursday, December 26, at 5:00 pm on WKBN. Great job and congratulations Mrs. Best!

The Child Development students spent two days mingling with the EP Preschool students! They read stories, participated in station activities, sang holiday songs, made reindeer food, and so much more!
