Cole Rutledge (2020) was recently invited to an Academic Achievement dinner at the University of Mount Union to recognize his academic accomplishments in high school as well as to meet professors and staff in the field he plans to pursue there, Chemistry. After the dinner, a student representative spoke about their experiences at the university. To our surprise, that student speaker was Samantha Martin (2016). Samantha is graduating in the spring with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry. She will be attending the University of Akron in the fall to start her master's degree. These are some of the many great accomplishments by our students and as Mount Union Purple Raiders.

Yesterday afternoon, the middle school hosted the Energy Agents, which is an educational program sponsored by Frist Energy. During their program, the Energy Agents taught students about energy, energy conservation, and electricity. This program was at no cost to the school and each student received a free energy conservation kit to take home. The kit included energy efficient light bulbs, night lights, power strip, and more. Thank you First Energy!
