As the sun rose over the tree line this morning, members of the Class of 2025 gathered in Reid Memorial Stadium to enjoy the view and create lasting memories. Our Senior Sunrise has become a cherished tradition for our senior classes, and we hope it will stay with them long after they leave the halls of EPHS.

The Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy made a significant contribution to the beautification of the EPHS grounds. With their hands in the dirt and the necessary tools in hand, they demonstrated their leadership while engaging in landscaping work, showcasing their pride in the district. Their efforts provided a great start for some of the projects we will be addressing this Saturday during Dog Days. Remember, it’s all about *Impact Through Action*

At EPMS, we are excited to announce many new enrichment opportunities for our students, made possible through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce's Expanding Opportunities for Each Child Grant Program, which our district has been awarded. We are focusing on areas such as science, math, visual arts, and communications, and we have recently introduced a variety of after-school programs. The level of student involvement has been truly remarkable! Students have been learning the basics of architectural design by creating Gnome Homes, exploring the art of sculpture, and constructing graphic novels from start to finish. These programs are positively transforming our students' educational experiences. You can even listen to our students who wanted to learn more about podcasting! https://open.spotify.com/episode/6YBxiTOkyhEA2loTsnt9OU?si=ZO3p7ma_RS-OSLCToq8CVQ Stay tuned for information about additional programs offered through this grant—we can't wait to share our excitement with you!

Our Bulldog Leadership Academy visited Columbiana High School and their downtown area to learn from their Creative Entrepreneurship class about special placemaking projects they are working on with their city! We are excited for the opportunity to learn and grow our own projects in East Palestine, with the help of the incredibly creative, thoughtful, and inspiring students and community members in a neighboring community!
