A huge shout-out and thank you to Bush Heating for their generous donation of 3 new Samsung mini-split heat pump systems in the East Palestine School District's weight room! These systems are going to be a game-changer, making sure our student-athletes stay comfortable, even during the "Dog Days of Summer." Thanks, Bush Heating, for helping our Dawgs feel cooler!

Our EP150 Band is almost ready to march! This Saturday, July 12th, remember: *Parent/adult sign-in is required for EPMS Band Members at the park gazebo between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. *Bring your instrument (no case needed!). *Wear your awesome Bulldog colors! *Students will be dismissed at the American Legion at the end of the route. Let's make some noise!

We're incredibly proud to celebrate two of our very own, Deacon Norton and Maxx Kunselman, who recently completed the prestigious Aviation Career Education (A.C.E.) Academy at Kent State University! This fantastic opportunity was possible through the Enriching Opportunities for Every Child (EOEC-NC) grant, which was awarded to EPMS. This intensive, week-long program provided Deacon and Maxx with an unparalleled experience in the world of aviation. They had the incredible opportunity to: *Take the controls of a single-engine Cessna. *Explore commercial and corporate jets. *Learn about advanced air mobility, including drones. *Go behind the scenes with a special tour of Cleveland-Hopkins Airport. *Experience Kent State University's state-of-the-art flight and Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulators. *Gain insights into unique aspects of military flight operations. We are thrilled to see our students pursuing unique learning opportunities that expand their horizons and prepare them for success in an ever-evolving world.

As a reminder, the Youth Volleyball Camp has been rescheduled to July 19th. There's still one month left until they can hit the courts!

Yesterday was Pizza Joe's Day at our Summer Meal Program, and it was a hit! We served up an incredible 189 pieces of pizza! That’s a whole lot of pizza, and it made lunchtime extra special for so many kids and teens. What a fun day! Some of our EPMS students recently took their architecture studies beyond the classroom with a visit to Fallingwater—Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic masterpiece—thanks to funding from the Enriching Opportunities for Every Child (EOEC-NC) grant, awarded to EPMS. As part of this immersive learning experience, students participated in the Gnome House Design Symposium, putting their creativity to the test by designing imaginative homes for gnomes. Special thank you to Mrs. Goodchild for her leadership, as she was the course instructor during the after-school program.
