Some of our EPMS students recently took their architecture studies beyond the classroom with a visit to Fallingwater—Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic masterpiece—thanks to funding from the Enriching Opportunities for Every Child (EOEC-NC) grant, awarded to EPMS. As part of this immersive learning experience, students participated in the Gnome House Design Symposium, putting their creativity to the test by designing imaginative homes for gnomes. Special thank you to Mrs. Goodchild for her leadership, as she was the course instructor during the after-school program. Real-world inspiration + playful design = future architects in the making. https://waterlandlife.org/fallingwater/
