Reminder! Tonight is First Responders Night at Reid Memorial Stadium. We welcome all first responders to join us for pre-game events starting at 6:45 PM.

Today, on the 24th anniversary of 9/11, the East Palestine School District honors the memory of those we lost. We remember the heroes who selflessly responded and the countless acts of courage and kindness that emerged from the tragedy.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the importance of community, resilience, and compassion. These are the values we strive to instill in our students every day.

We believe that great behavior deserves to be celebrated! That's why we're so proud to announce our new Top Dawg program at EPES, designed to highlight the students who are making our school a better place.

Every day, one student at EPES will be named our Top Dawg for following our Bulldog Rules and earning a Pawsitive Action Slip that shows exemplary actions or behavior. This isn't just about winning a trip to the book vending machine—it's about fostering a positive and supportive school community, one paw-sitive action at a time!

When your student is feeling under the weather, it can be tough to know what to do. Check out Akron Children's infographic to help you decide if it's best for your student to stay home and rest....and when they are ready to go back to school!

This Friday (9/12), we invite all area First Responders to gather for a special combined pregame performance by the East Palestine and Lisbon bands. It is our time to honor and thank you for your service!

Get ready, 4th-grade students and families! We’re joining schools across Ohio in the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge —a fun, 90-day journey to better health, starting in September! The program is designed for students to set goals and strive to achieve them through movement, healthy eating, and good sleep habits.

What a fantastic first week back! The energy in our halls and classrooms was amazing, and it was so great to see all of our students again. We're off to an incredible start!

Just a reminder, there will be no school on Friday, August 29th, and Monday, September 1st. Enjoy the long weekend!

The Strive to Thrive Resource Relay

The wait is over, and a new chapter has officially begun!
We are thrilled to have welcomed our ENTIRE student body back to campus for the first day of the 2025-2026 school year. From our newest Bulldogs in Preschool to our High School students, "the gang's all here" and ready to make this year an unforgettable one!

In this small town, we know how to come together and support our neighbors in times of need. Members of our community have organized a spaghetti dinner benefit to help the Wolfe family. Let's show up and show them the incredible support of the East Palestine community!

The East Palestine School District is excited to welcome Shannon Sheptock to our staff!

She joins us as a certified and licensed Athletic Trainer, bringing a wealth of experience from her seven years in the field. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2017 from the University of Mount Union, where she also minored in both Nutrition and Exercise Science.

Shannon has an impressive background, and her dedication to student-athletes is evident in her experience, which includes working three state title games in both soccer and football. We are confident that Shannon's expertise will be a huge asset to our athletic programs!

Join us Saturday, August 23rd, for a day of community pride and fun!

Our Meet the Team Parade kicks off at 4 p.m. We'd love for you to line West Grant Street to cheer on our fall athletes and our marching band as they make their way to Reid Memorial Stadium.

Then stick around for the Back to School Bash from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The campus will be buzzing with fun activities, games, giveaways, and delicious food from four fantastic vendors.

It’s the perfect way to show your support and get excited for the new school year. See you there!

As the final preparations are completed for the highly anticipated return of our students and staff, we would like to extend a huge thank you to our custodial and maintenance teams for all their hard work this summer! While summer break was going on, they were busy cleaning, repairing, and preparing our schools to be safe and welcoming for the new year. We truly appreciate their dedication!
