A little birdie gave us some extra info for the Tournament of Roses Parade!

There's a lot of Christmas fun happening in Bulldog Country today!
Some of our elementary students enjoyed a special "Cookies and Crafts" event, hosted by the Project EP class from the high school. From decorating cookies to creating festive crafts, it was a blast! We love seeing our oldest students stepping up as leaders to inspire the next generation of Bulldogs.

Finish this memorable movie line “The best way to spread Christmas cheer…..”
And our students have been doing just that as they have been busy visiting Christian House and Covington. Cast members of Hometown Holiday were able to perform some tunes from their recent show and Kindergarten sang their little hearts out to bring joy to residents.

It took a team effort to manage the North Pole's most famous troublemaker! The Grinch stopped by EPES with Santa today, and our favorite SRO, Officer Brindisi, was there to lend a hand when mischief started.
Our students absolutely loved seeing this legendary trio and sharing their holiday cheer!

Gumdrops, icing, and a whole lot of fun!
Our Kindergarteners became little architects this afternoon for our annual Gingerbread House event. They were able to turn graham crackers and icing into holiday masterpieces with the help of some very special guests!

It's official—it's Snowman Day!
Our elementary students had a wonderful surprise this morning. This very special, frosty friend showed up to welcome them to school! What a way to start the day!

One of Principal Clunen's favorite parts of the day is making a "PAWS"itive Office Referral phone call home. These calls are a way to celebrate students who are doing great things, and the celebration continues beyond the call.
Each student recognized receives a special visit to our fantastic Book Vending Machine! This is how we honor their character and encourage a lifelong love of reading. Keep up the great work, Bulldogs!

This morning's PBIS assembly at EPES was filled with fun and energy, but most importantly, it delivered a message for our students: Never Give Up - Encourage Others - Do Your Best (NED).

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and the Ohio PBIS Network have recognized both our elementary and high school for exceptional implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)!
Achieving this honor requires dedication to teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors consistently across all grade levels.

We hope you have added Hometown Holiday to your "To-Do List" for the weekend! It will be a sure way to kick off the holiday season and spread some cheer!

Inspired by "The Great Turkey Race," Mrs. Rutledge's class took on an engineering challenge! They designed and created impressive 3D obstacle courses for their turkeys, featuring slides, balance beams, and more. Their creativity shone as they shared their finished projects with other classes!

At the East Palestine School District, we love shining a light on our students' incredible talents. Each month, our Board Meetings feature a Student Spotlight section, and this past month was truly heartwarming!
We were so proud of our amazing 2nd graders who stood up and confidently read their Thanksgiving Opinion Writing pieces to the Board. They all did an outstanding job! Keep up the great work—you inspire us every day!
