Recently, students presented their table projects after reading "The Canterbury Tales" in Honors English 12. This project requires students to think outside of the tales as they host their own dinner party placing characters among friend or foe while preparing for the outcome of the conversations to be had at the table.

Scholarship Alert! The following information pertains to the third annual, Dayton founded, Kids and Community Scholarship . Student winners will receive a $5,000 scholarship to attend an accredited U.S. college or university. They will select a maximum of six recipients this year. Voting for Winter Homecoming Court (2021) is now open. Voting will only take place today, Wednesday, January 20. Only students with a valid school email address will be able to vote for their classmates. A link to your class ballot was sent this morning via your school email account. Also, students are only permitted to vote once, and students should only vote for their own class. Votes cast more than once, for the incorrect class, or from an invalid email address will be disqualified. Voting will conclude tonight at 11:59 pm. Selected court members will be announced later this week. Good luck.

Attention high school students: Tomorrow morning, Wednesday, January 20, each high school student will receive via email an electronic ballot for Winter Homecoming Court 2021. Students are only permitted to vote once and for their class using their school email address. Votes cast for the wrong class or more than once will be discarded. Balloting will close at 11:59 pm on Wednesday, January 20. Balloting for homecoming king and queen will take place on Friday. January 22. While plans for a homecoming event are still taking shape, selected court members will be recognized at the high school boys’ basketball game on Tuesday, February 2. Good luck tomorrow.
