Financial Aid Night will be held at the high school on Wednesday, October 23, at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. Youngstown State University will be presenting on the FAFSA and the financial aid process used for admission. All students and parents are welcome to attend.

Congratulations to the High School Girls Cross Country team as they were crowned 3x EOAC Champs! The team was led by Hope Figley, Emily Zimmerman, Hannah Cunningham, Faith Figley, and Heather Bishop. On the boys side, Cole Rutledge was named individual EOAC Champion along with Matt Garcia earning first team honors. In addition, scorers for the bulldogs included Dominic Fertch, Gavin Lambert, and George Bosworth. The Middle School Girls Cross Country team also earned the EOAC crown. Great performances were turned in by Jaylene Jackson, Jasmine Ludt, Anna Jascola, and Sierra Lee.

A new freshman course at the high school this school year is Personal Wellness. This course, taught by Mr. Franklin, outlines for students ways in which they can live a healthy lifestyle not only in high school but beyond graduation. Today, students researched health food recipes and will report on their findings in class.

On Tuesday night, the County Cross Country Championship meet was held at Columbiana High School. Our Bulldogs didn’t disappoint. The high school teams came in 2nd place. Other top finishers include: Cole Rutledge -5th place, Hope Figley - 7th place, Emily Zimmerman - 8th place, Hannah Cunningham - 14th place, Zac Figley - 11th place, Jaylene Jackson - 3rd place, and Jasmine Ludt – 9th place.
