After a long hiatus, the Scholastic Book Fair is finally back at East Palestine Middle School from March 16 through March 20. We’ve missed the excitement of students discovering their next favorite book! Students are invited to visit the fair immediately after finishing their lunch.

We highly encourage parents to utilize the Scholastic eWallet system. It’s a safe, cashless way for your student to shop without worrying about lost coins or bills.

We can’t wait to see our Bulldogs browsing the shelves again!

Our East Palestine Elementary students just showed everyone exactly how much heart they have! We have officially wrapped up this year’s American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge, and the results are in: our school community raised a fantastic $1,538.03!

Huge congratulations to Brooklyn Walker, our top fundraiser, for going above and beyond!

Mrs. Franklin is bursting with pride—not just for the money raised, but for the way our students stepped up to learn about heart health and support such a vital organization.
THANK YOU for making a difference!

Today is National Letter to an Elder Day, and our Rotary Interact students celebrated in the best way possible.

Under the guidance of Mr. Kyle Zimmerman, 20 students learned the art of letter writing and the proper way to address an envelope. The result? 23 personalized, handwritten letters filled with kindness for the residents of Christian House.

Mr. Zimmerman will be delivering this bundle of mail later today! We are so proud of these students for taking the time to brighten a neighbor's day.

Our neighbors at Columbiana and Crestview have laid down the challenge, and we are ready to step up! This Friday, February 27th, we are asking our Bulldogs to wear blue in honor of Rare Disease Day.

Yesterday, Mrs. Peterson’s 6th Grade Social Studies students completed their investigation into the preservation methods used in Ancient Egypt. After two weeks of resting in salt-rich natron, the hot dog mummies were finally unearthed! The sarcophagi were removed, and the bandages were unwrapped. Next, a final inspection was conducted.

Mrs. Peterson challenged the students to find the perfect adjectives to describe the appearance, texture, and, of course, the smell of their mummified creations. It turns out that 3,000 years of tradition—condensed into 14 days—leads to some very vivid vocabulary!

When we lift others up, great things happen.....kindness spreads!
Just like our middle school, East Palestine Elementary is now also utilizing a Kindness eWall where students and staff can be recognized for the great things they're doing.

Students, staff, and families can post anonymous, uplifting messages that are approved before being displayed publicly, currently in our cafeteria.

We encourage everyone to take a few moments to lift someone up—recognize a student’s effort, thank a colleague, or share a kind word!
