Good evening East Palestine families, this is Mr. Neifer, EPCSD Superintendent.
First, I want to thank everyone who was able to join us for our Back to School Bash, and our Open Houses this week. It has been a great way to have a positive start to the school year. The teaching staff was back in their classrooms this week and is well prepared to receive their students to begin a very successful school year.
Just a reminder that School begins on Monday, August 21st and Tuesday, August 22nd. Remember that the Elementary school is the only building with a staggered start this year, and you received that information in your opening letters from Mr. Clunen. Middle school and High School students will all begin school normally on the 21st. Please continue to visit our district website for updated information.
Bus routes were shared at open house this week and have been posted on the district website.
Please make sure to update your paperwork in final forms. The free and reduced lunch application link is now live. Please take a moment to complete this application as it directly affects school funding for the district.
Good Luck to our Bulldog Football team as they travel to Newton Falls tonight to take on the Tigers in our season opener. Good luck to the rest of our student athletes as their seasons get underway as well.
We look forward to the start of another great school year. Have an enjoyable last few days of summer break, and as always GO BULLDOGS!!!
