Mr. Zimmerman, the Assistant Band Director, spent some time with our 4th-grade students as they prepare for their transition to middle school next year. He brought along some members of the EPMS and EPHS bands to showcase everything the EP Bulldog Band has to offer and provided info about the Beginner Band!

Next stop: Columbus—and straight into the history books!

A Little Friendly Competition!
Mr. Boozell's 7th graders, with help from Mrs. Sherry, participated in a friendly "Around the World" challenge to practice their multiplication facts.

Miss Chandler from EPMS and Miss Irons from EPHS teamed up to form a cooking collaboration.
Our younger bulldogs enjoyed a lesson on kitchen safety and had some fun making pepperoni crescent rolls! Such great teamwork!

Mrs. Peterson's 6th-grade students engaged in a lesson focused on entrepreneurship and economics. They collaborated in teams to create an original invention or business idea. Afterward, they developed a "Shark Tank" style presentation to try to convince some savvy "sharks" to invest in their businesses. There was a lot of hard work and creativity throughout the process!

Our 7th graders' annual trip to Camp Frederick is packed with a whole week's worth of fun in just one day!

Did you know that students can lose one to two months of reading proficiency over the summer? It's a real trend often called the "summer slide," but the best defense is simple: consistent, low-pressure reading!
We are incredibly lucky to have a wonderful resource right here in town to make summer reading fun and engaging. A huge THANK YOU to Miss Noreen and Miss Ivy from the East Palestine Memorial Public Library for visiting EPES today! They did a fantastic job introducing our students to the library and getting everyone excited for what's ahead.
The library’s official Summer Reading Program kicks off on June 6th! Let’s keep those sharp minds active all summer long. Be sure to stop by the library, grab a library card, and sign up for the summer program!

Over the past month, Miss Barkett’s 7th-grade students have had a front-row seat to the wonders of nature. They started with tiny little caterpillars and carefully observed them as they went through the incredible process of metamorphosis.
And now.......they have been released into nature!

Gravity + Friction + Pringles = A major STEM victory!
Mrs. Herman’s 4th graders tackled the Pringles Ringle Challenge—building a self-supporting ring with absolutely no glue or tape. It took serious teamwork and strategy, but one group pulled it off!
High five to Amelia, Paxton, Vayda, and Lilly for making their Pringles ring stand tall!

Today, we honor the brave and remember the fallen.
Ahead of Memorial Day, EPHS Juniors received a special visit from Randall Tebay with the East Palestine American Legion Post 31. Our students learned about the history of the day and were given flags to carry forward the tradition of remembrance.
Thank you to the American Legion for inspiring our Bulldogs to honor those who served.

Due to the current weather conditions & forecast, the 140th Annual Commencement Ceremony for the EPHS Class of 2026 will be moved indoors this evening.
While we'd prefer to celebrate outside, we made this decision with the best interests, comfort, and safety of our graduates and guests in mind. Let’s come together to make this an unforgettable celebration for our seniors!
Here is what you need to know for this evening:
Main Ceremony (Auditorium): Admission to the EPHS Auditorium is strictly limited to ticket holders only. Please ensure you have your tickets ready at the door.
Live Stream Viewing (Gymnasium): To accommodate our extended Bulldog family and guests without tickets, the entire ceremony will be live-streamed on the big screen in the EPHS Gymnasium. Gym doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Thank you for your flexibility, understanding, and continued support of the incredible Class of 2026. See you tonight to celebrate our grads!

To celebrate the end of Right to Read Week, some of our students had the chance to read uniquely. It's the Great American Camp Out here at EPES!

One of our favorite days of the year is Gardening Day with Threshold Residential Services! Each year, we take our 5th-grade students on a fun adventure to the Sensory Garden, where they help prepare and plant for the new season. It's a wonderful opportunity for us to work together for our community!
