This is Dr. Rook calling from East Palestine Schools with a few important reminders as we get ready to begin the 2026-27 school year.
First, the annual Back to School Blitz and Meet the Team event is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, August 21, at 5:00 pm on the school district campus. We hope everyone can join us for another fun-filled event to kick off the school year.
Next, the first day of school for students is set for Monday, August 24.
As a reminder, preschool and kindergarten students will begin state testing on Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, August 25. Parents should have received information earlier this month that indicated your student’s testing date. All preschool and kindergarten students will begin school on Wednesday, August 26.
Finally, the complete Academic Calendar for the 2026-27 school year, which includes the updated start times for our schools, is posted on our school district’s website.
