EP Bulldog Cross Country

Hey there, Runners and Parents!

We're super stoked for this season and can't wait to see everyone give it their all and have a blast!

For those who are new to Cross Country:

Cross country (XC/CC) is an awesome sport where student athletes train to compete in races. Picture this: running through woods, fields, creeks, on gravel & dirt paths, and around sports fields. It's a real adventure! Middle schoolers race for 2miles at most, while high schoolers go for 3.1 miles. These races, called 'meets', 'invites', or 'invitationals', usually take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays. . We're ready to race and practice in all sorts of conditions, from hot and cold to wet and dry....Just not in thunder and lightning, safety first!

Running is a sport that anyone can do, no matter their age or fitness level. It's a fantastic way to stay active, improve endurance, and boost overall health. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out, running is a great way to challenge yourself and achieve personal goals. So lace up those shoes and hit the road, because in Cross Country there's no excuses...running is for everyone!

Signups will be held right after school on Friday May 10th, at the track, if it's raining we will be at the track under the concessions stand. This is for grades 6 entering 7th grade to 11th becoming seniors.  Girls and Boys. Everyone is encouraged to come chat with us as we would love to talk to you about our program....returning Runners please do your best to be here as you can answer questions as well and meet anyone considering coming out to run!
